Marjan’s projects are focused on molecular phylogeny, ecology and behaviour of both herpetofauna and primates. Maria’s research in the lab is focused on fluorescence in amphibians and reptiles, and on the behavioural ecology of some Asian primates. Marjan is also involved in a project named “Canopy for Conservation” where she has built artificial canopy bridges over highways to mitigate roadkill and electrocution.
Marjan is currently doing her Bsc on Zoology in Jagannath University, Dhaka. She loves to explore nature. She is also involved in the description of a few amphibians species from Bangladesh using morphometric, molecular and advertisement call.
