Sumbul’s research is currently focused on the population genetics of two Himalayan frogs in northern Pakistan using traditional sequencing and ddRAD. She has previously worked on the external morphology of tadpoles and their ecological adaptations.
She has also been a part of studies on radiotelemetry for these species and the
development of lab protocols to study the risk of climate change. She has experience in animal handling, trapping and marking techniques.
All of Sumbul’s research is listed on Research Gate.
